Annual exams, PAP smears and family planning. Pregnancy confirmation, lab work and pregnancy care while you are deciding about your birth care, postpartum care, home visits and newborn metabolic screening (PKU test). Some craniosacral care. No birth care is provided. Office visits are provided at the prior site of The Birth Center, Midwives Care in Northside.

Whole Body offers newborn/infant massage classes and Craniosacral therapy services. Parents learn the loving art of infant massage from an IAIM certified instructor and trainer.

Some of the benefits of infant massage are:

  • improved sleep
  • improved digestion
  • improved body awareness
  • improved attachment

CranioSacral therapy is a gentle form of bodywork that helps babies relieve stress, tension or trauma. It helps to promote relaxation and optimal, natural body alignment which enhances all of the body systems. CranioSacral therapy is a great way to promote health from within your baby's body.

Michelle has 12 years of experience as a neonatal / pediatric Occupational Therapist, in addition to being a Certified Baby's First Massage Instructor and Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Michelle's certification in CranioSacral Therapy will be completed in March 08. She is also certified in the Infant Behavioral Assessment, which is an assessment tool to help parents read and respond to their baby's subtle behavioral cues. She is a student of Healing Touch.
